Another beautiful wooden set that matches and compliment's Hearthsong's play food series. This one includes a kettle (which you don't often see in toys, especially made of wood) that reminds me of having afternoon tea with my grandmother when I was a little girl.
This set is a lunch for two, and it includes a wooden table, two plates, two spoons, two forks, two cups, two sandwiches, two strawberries, two cloth napkins, an apple, a bottle of milk and an orange.
As with any set of play food, know your child and properly supervise. This set is for ages 3 and up (the strawberries are small), but if your child still puts play food in their mouth you should use discretion with letting them play with painted wooden food without supervision. Kids can chew the paint off, and even if the paint is non-toxic, no one really wants their kid eating paint. So just make sure you know your child and if they are a little young or aren't quite developmentally *there* yet to be responsible with it, you can always set this aside as a special toy they only play with when you can play along with them and give them your full attention.
